DNSSEC protocol is already supported by many popular programs. Most DNS servers have BIND DNS server version 9 installed which supports DNSSEC, and you only need to slightly adjust its settings to secure your domain against DNS attacks. There also are plugins to integrate DNSSEC to IPSEC and LDAP.
RIPE collaborates in DNSSEC protocol distribution. There are many programs and libraries that help system administrators to migrate to DNSSEC.
Unfortunately, popular resolvers and client-side programs for the most part don't support DNSSEC yet. However, there are some client programs and add-ins supporting DNSSEC. We should mention a plugin to Firefox, a popular web browser. If the requested resource supports DNSSEC, Firefox displays a secure DNS resolution icon to confirm digital signing of the data.
